Amethyst Specialist Cancer Massage Refresher In-Person Course *SPECIAL OFFER* - 2nd December 2025

Course Outline

This FHT approved course is a specially designed face-to-face training course for Amethyst graduates who have completed the Amethyst Specialist Cancer Massage training course. Covering up to date theory and practical considerations of offering massage therapies to clients who have either experienced or are in treatment for cancer and is aligned with the SATCC Standard.

This course will cover:

  • Review of medical treatments and side effects

  • Massage considerations and adaptations 

  • Working in alignment with the SATCC Standard

  • Clients’ questions and concerns when making bookings

  • Up dates on the contraindications

  • Skin care products and ingredients

  • Adapting massage techniques regarding short and long-term side effects

  • Lymphatic Wake-Up and Simple Lymphatic Drainage (SLD) techniques

  • Review your aftercare knowledge

  • Resilience‍ for both yourself and your clients

Assessment Methods

There is one online Pre-LearningUnit that introduces this course, containing a variety of Topics, each Topic has a series of recap Quizzes to help consolidate your learning and remember the information as you go. There is a final Assessment which has a qualifying pass rate of 80%.

Pre-Requisite Requirements

Amethyst Specialist Cancer Massage Certificate or equivalent*.
Qualification certificates must be shown on enrolment.

Duration

Online home study takes approximately 1-2 hours and can be studied at your leisure. To be completed prior to the face-to-face course on the 2nd of December 2025.
